SUBIC, Philippines--Philippine bet Kim Mangrobang on Sunday once again dominated the women's finals of the triathlon in the 30th Southeast Asian Games at Subic Bay Boardwalk here.

Mangrobang emerged as the champion and defended her title as the top female triathlete in the biennial sports meet's 1.5-kilometer swim, 40-kilometer bike, and 10-kilometer run competition.

Meanwhile, fellow Filipina Kim Kilgroe secured the silver medal in the same event, making a 1-2 finish again for the Philippines.

Mangrobang and Kilgroe tandem made it a sweep for the Philippines after fellow Filipino triathletes John Chicano and Andrew Kim Remolino won the gold and silver medals in the men's category.
